Easy Access Veggies

This takes about ten minutes when I get home from the grocery store. It makes grabbing items for a salad, lunch box, or snack really convenient. Also keeps things nice and fresh and cuts down on the amount of produce I throw out. This is something I have always done off and on...but staying consistent with it the past month or so has been very beneficial.

Job Hunting...Show instead of tell.

Dear Hiring Committee:

As you will see through the following letter I am incredibly egotistical... *cough*... I mean confident (this is one of my many wonderful qualities). I cannot express through a resume and cover letter how qualified I am to work for your organization. I would rather show you than tell you how great I am.

I am honest, so you should trust my word explicitly. Throw away the hundreds of applications you will receive and hire me; you will not be disappointed. I will learn any job in an incredibly efficient amount of time. I will be one of your greatest employees.

Hire me and give me one week to show you what I can do. It really is just that simple.

Sincerely,

Your newest Employee

Belated Happy Holidays

This year we were fortunate to spend a week in Rhinelander with the Lindner side of the family. Dad and Mom do so much for each of us and spending time with them is perfect.
Just a few random shots from the week.

Kaleb and his Christmas girls (Lucy, Meela, Cassidy)

All 9 Grandkids
Meela, Cassidy, Miranda, Kamryn, Ella, Ethan, Jack, Lucy, Brittiny

Left: Brothers- Andy, Jake, Chris (we were missing Alex who is on a mission for the church)

Right: Dad and brother-in-law Steve peeking at the action

Our oldest niece, Miranda, is awesome with the youngest nieces, Kamryn and Cassidy.

20 minutes later......

Cassidy with "Uncle Kalabub"

A cheesy Kamryn face to send you off into a Happy New Year!

Celebrating with Group Counseling friend, Zarah.

Funky hair post graduation cap...thanks for that one Kaleb. ;) But really...could not have done this without your support. Thank you.

My brother Jake asked me if he needs to refer to me as "Master Widmier" now.....

Yes, yes you do. :)

Useless trivia = The Bucks

Kaleb is a walking talking Trivial Pursuit game. Recently he won Bucks basketball tickets at a Trivial Pursuit contest at work. Lots of useless trivia = a fun night out. The jumbo screen shows the scene after the game winning buzzer shot.

The halftime show included a few performers from Cirque du Soleil. Pretty incredible. The Milwaukee Bucks crowd had an interesting reaction to these ripped men in gold body paint ... let's just say they may not be as "open" as a Vegas crowd. We were pretty impressed with their strength and balancing skills.

Self portrait..."Ummm we look sleepy." "SMILE, Kaleb"....
